I took my class ont he Primary School version of Louisa's Walk and they loved it. By being able to participate the children felt truely part of Louisa's experience.

"Louisa's Walk was a really interesting play, where we had to use our imaginations, it went through the Female Factory. There was a man who played 5 characters and a lady who played the convict Louisa. It was a wonderful, true play." Hannah aged 9.

What a great experience! The performance was thought provoking and gave a great insight into the hardships that prevailed for the convict women. It was the best thing we experienced on our trip to Hobart. A very big thank-you!

History is about people & their stories. "Louisa's Walk" brings history to life & makes the story more believable as it is "Louisa's" life. This performance made visiting the Female Factory more enjoyable and made the hardships faced by the female convicts more realistic and believable. This is the "best" way to see the Female Factory and a must for people visiting Hobart.

Simply unique! This is a thought provoking and insightful experience. An opportunity to walk in Louisa's shoes and see the harsh existence of a convict's life in Hobart. We are so glad we took the time to go on Louisa's Walk!

What an amazing and enjoyable way to learn some fascinating history! Our children and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed your performance of this true story. It was interesting, moving and certainly made “history real”, I still think about different parts of it still, even though we saw it, or really I should more properly say ‘experienced it’ 4 weeks ago, at the end of our Tassie family holiday. It really was a highlight of our trip.
