We sometimes think Louisa’s Walk becomes a nature walk! As we are walking back up to the top of the Cascades, we feed ducks (if I have remembered to bring some bread) and keep our eyes peeled for Monty the Platypus (so rarely seen) anyone seen him recently?
Today, it was on the way down that we saw a large white crane, wading in the Hobart Rivulet. Unfortunately, my photo doesn’t show it up as I guess it’s too white! If you can imagine it just behind the white reflection on the water……….?
