Our little company of actors is growing ready for the busy season ahead. Today, we welcomed Bryony Geeves, well known Hobart actor and performer. Byrony has been learning her lines for her character Mary James in Her Story for the last week or two. She jumped right in this morning when she arrived for a rehearsal at the Cascades Female Factory; it’s such a public space and she very soon attracted an audience, dressed as she was for her part. Actually that helped the rehearsal dynamic
and they felt very privileged to have been in the right place at the right time!
She was brilliant and did such a good job. She joins our other Live History Productions female actors; Anna Freeland Hopwood and Gail Friswell playing the parts of Mary James in Her Story and Louisa on Louisa’s Walk.
We are so fortunate to have such dedicated and talented women! Bryony’s first show with a paying audience will be tomorrow at 11 a.m at the Female Factory. Why not come on up and cheer on her first performance?
