Forget-Me-Not.

On the way back up to the Cascades after Louisa’s Walk we stop on the traffic island at the top of Degraves Street and remember the women and children who suffered through the hardships of the Female Factory.  We also remember the fact that in 185o there was a cemetery in that area.

We pause and remember with a moment’s silence.

Yesterday, Margaret, one of our group pointed out that there was a line of forget-me-nots under the trees.

Lest we forget ————
