Fun in the Autumn Leaves.

As I started Louisa’s Walk today it was amusing to see a little girl half buried in Autumn leaves being photographed by her parents.  I didn’t have time to get a photo myself but I hope this little girl will remember that moment.

Life is all about iconic moments; my own Autumn leaves moment is a sad one.  My Father died of cancer at 62, I was here, in Tasmania and he was in England as he was  going through the hard yards.  I was busy bringing up a big family and there was no spare money for air fares.  My mother wrote of rustling her way through Autumn leaves to go and visit him in hospital.  I always remember that.  Memories both happy and sad.  A bit like life really.

It’s a lovely time of year to experience Louisa’s Walk, the weather today was calm and golden.  The Autumn leaves were resplendent in their gold livery.  The ducks were playful on the dam.  We had twenty people on the show today – wow – Summer numbers!

We have some exciting news coming up but, watch this space ………………………..
