It was hats off, both literally and figuratively, in the high winds of the past couple of days. Colin and Gail performed Louisa’s Walk yesterday in strong winds and rain. Chris and I did the same today in gale force winds which nearly knocked us sideways and certainly knocked our hats off!
Hardy tourists however, still wanted to come and hear Louisa’s story and some booked in as late as lunchtime notwithstanding the weather conditions. Down in the Cascades Female Factory, the bush on the hill above sounded like an express train as the trees were almost bent double.
Hats off to performers and audience – hardy souls and real troopers.
