At the start of Louisa’s Walk, Louisa promises you laughter and tears as her tale unfolds. Whilst some people are more openly emotional than others, some have such a direct connection with the site that tears are almost inevitable.
Our newest actor Bryony Hindley had this story to pass on just a few days ago.
” On Wednesday there was a lady who couldn’t stop crying throughout the show, which was a first for me. Later the woman came over to me and informed me that herself and her husband were from Victoria, they had recently moved into a house owned by one of her ancestors who had been a prisoner in our Cascades Female Factory! She was really touched by it all which was nice.”
