Apologies for the play on A.A. Milne’s book but I couldn’t resist it! Seriously though we are seven as of yesterday, possibly an excuse for a platitude like “How time flies” but it’s true, we can’t believe it!
Louisa’s Walk – Live History Productions has been going for seven years and yesterday was our seventh birthday! One of our audience members commented the other day that we’ve done our seven year sentence – Louisa is sentenced for seven years for stealing a loaf of bread.
Well, it hasn’t felt like a sentence. More a privilege to earn our living telling the story of a convict woman and doing what we love. Together with the dedicated people who work on site, we are helping to bring the Cascades Female Factory to the world’s attention.
