We are still basking in the memories of our recent Irish trip. I actually put our photos onto a USB and took them into Kingston Camera Shop to get them printed! I am old fashioned about photos and like to see them as prints in an album rather than on screen – how about you?
One of my highlights of, the holiday component, of our trip was a visit to The Burren Perfumery on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare. Okay, I will admit a weakness here – I adore perfume! Scents evoke memories for me more than any other stimuli and I love being surrounded by perfume.
I also love gardens and imaginative landscaping; the herb garden at The Burren Perfumery was stunning.
There were lots of creative ideas including a man in an old rusted bed! I think he had been made with moss filled chicken wire and left to grow. He even had a pair of old boots under the bed!
Umm – did I buy any perfume? Of course I did “Ilaun” was my choice and I wear it now. What’s your favourite perfume?
